About Me
From Financial Advisor to Bookkeeping Professional
In 2018, I graduated from Widener University after completing a 4+1 program. I earned my Master’s in Tax and Financial Planning. I then worked as a financial analyst at a large RIA firm in Philadelphia for three years.
Looking for a more client-facing role, I left for a small RIA firm working as a financial advisor. After a year and a half, I was laid-off. I decided to use this as an opportunity to change careers and start my own business.
I am now a bookkeeping professional and I continue to be a CFP® professional. I am the owner of Propeller Bookkeeping, LLC.
About Me
Personally...
I love karate. I did it as a kid for 10 years. I made it to first degree black belt in kenpo karate. I started an adult martial arts program at another school (still kenpo) in November of 2021. As of this writing, I am two-thirds of the way to achieving the rank of black belt again.
I took jiu-jitsu lessons at my karate dojo for a few months until the instructor teaching them left. As much as I love karate, I like jiu-jitsu just as much, if not more. I am interested in practicing jiu-jitsu again but need people to train with. If you are interested and in the Philly area, please let me know.
I live with my husband. I love cats but we don’t have any because of allergies in the family.
